Original or Fine Art print?

An original is a watercolour painted by hand, as a single copy, on cotton paper. No second one exists: the way the water settles, the pigment blooms and the granulating deposits never repeat identically. A Fine Art print is a giclée reproduction made from that original: same image, same paper, but printed. It lets you welcome a piece whose original has already sold, or start a collection at an accessible price.

The paper

Originals and prints alike are on Arches 300 gsm, 100% cotton, fine grain. It is an archival paper: free of lignin and optical brighteners, it does not yellow or grow brittle over the years. The fine grain holds enough material to let pigment granulation breathe while keeping edges crisp: the right compromise for botanical and animal subjects.

Giclée printing

Giclée printing lays down pigment inks rather than dyes. The difference shows over time: where a dye-based ink shifts within a few years under light, a pigment stays stable for decades away from direct sun. Every print is checked as it comes off the press, then shipped unframed in a protective sleeve.

Shipped from Luxembourg

Orders leave Luxembourg for anywhere in the European Union within 5 to 10 working days, with a tracking number. Works travel flat, between two rigid boards, in a reinforced envelope, never rolled. Payment goes through Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and you have 14 calendar days to change your mind on a physical work.
